We want to do a cheap version of the Topsy Turvey Tomato Grower and use some 5 gallon pails we have laying around. Momma bought some Beefsteaks and Early Girls today and was wondering if the Beefsteaks will be too Heavy for the buckets. ie, will their weight cause them to fall out of the buckets? I plan on cutting 2" holes around the sides of the pails and plant them in there, unless y"all might have some better suggestions. My thumb is pretty brown.
