Bob Farrell, James and I correspond directly. He's a member of this forum. James and I only recently became aware of his health situation. I asked Bob's permission to post the following and his email address.
If you read the post a couple of days ago asking for prayers for him, then you know his life consists only of trips to the doctor. He doesn't answer the phone, the door or visit with people anymore. He does read the posts on YT.
Not only did I want to share his situation with ya'll and hope you gentlemen will heed his advice, but since he is now pretty much housebound, ask that anyone who would like to, start corresponding with him directly. Here's his email address: farrell8065@sbcglobal.net
Here's what Bob has told us: "The cancer I have, emanated from my prostate (I encourage all men 50 and older to GET THE PROSTATE CHECKED at least once a year. It has spread throughout the "BONES" in my body. My other vital organs are in pretty good shape (heart, lungs, liver, etc., etc.). I have experienced quite some pain the last few months - but, the past two-three weeks it has lessened. My Oncologist has cautioned me over and over about the peril(s) of falling. His repeated statement is: "If you fall - bones break - and they will not heal". I am on a Hormone therapy program that is injected into my stomach, plus shots and IV's of blood enhancers. There is no cure for this cancer but the doc says the proper treatment and being careful about falling can contribute to a longer semi-quality life."

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
