There was a UDLX that sold this past summer. It was restored and advertised on eBay. I believe it sold for over $50,000. It looked very complete and very well restored. There are several UDLX's out there in collectors hands. I know of at least 4 or 5 different restored UDLX's in the midwest (MI, OH, IN) Finding an unrestored model is definitely out of the ordinary and something worth pursuing. I think the UDLX's value today has a lot to do with how radically different they were back in 1938 compared to other tractors on the market. If you get the opportunity to purchase it you would be the envy of a whole lot of MM collectors including myself. Be aware that there are several small details that can really make the price of a UDLX jump. Having the original hood ornament is one of them. I can imagine finding a replacement bumper will be difficult. I seem to remember someone advertising reproduction UDLX sheet metal though. Good Luck! Brian

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
