What Nancy said was true through Norton 2008, the old Norton was a hog. They sent an offer giving me a free 30 day trial of the all new Norton internet security, claiming it was all new and fixed all the things that made users hate the old Norton, saying it uses very little computer and is constantly working in the back ground and goes away the instant you do anything on the computer.
It works ! I am very happy with Norton Internet Security 2009. Computer is faster, it updates viris difinitions every few minutes (If you check, it usually says viris difinitions have been updated within the last 10 minutes). If you let the computer sit idle for a few minutes, a box pops up on the screen saying that Norton 2009 is updating, repairing checking. Move the mouse or touch a key and Norton 2009 goes dormant and gives you full use of your computer. I love how the new Norton works and nothing has got past it in the 6 months I have had it.
