I'm with you Tony... And on a more basic linguistic level, no matter how you say it "Gore" does not sound good.... "That movie was just pure Gore" (Something bad you see or experience) "Oh no! That steer just Gored Bob!" (something bad that happens to you) Either way, not getting my vote.
