One other thing to consider, how perfect are the calipers /cylinders ? Are they worth spending a lot of time on a repair ?
I learned to check that after an experience with a full size 79 Dodge van. The front calipers were sticking and causing brake drag / heating. After removing and inspecting I found the pistons a bit scored and caliper body a bit rust pitted. I honed the caliper bodys and installed a new $10 piston /seal kit. After 6 months they were sticking again. I rehoned and installed another $10 repair kit. 6 months later they were sticking again. You could see by the position of the scoring that the caliper body was warping and pinching down on the pistons. I said to myself, "Now I got to spend the big bucks and buy rebuilt calipers". Stopped at the local NAPA and asked for rebuilt calipers, ready for the bad news on price. Counter guy said "sure we got them in stock, $13 each" Thought, Oh my gosh, I spent all that time and $20 worth of kits on the old ones and still had nothing. The rebuilt $13 calipers were a different casting number and have been trouble free for 15 years. Costly lesson. :-(

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
