I have a MF50A which is supposed to be an industrial version of the MF 165 ag version. The MF50A doesn't have a 3 point hitch, but does have a PTO that is not live (stops when the ground speed stops, and when transmission is in neutral with the clutch engaged the PTO turns). I would like to add a 3 point hitch, but as I understand it, the 3 point pump runs of the PTO. Thus, if I added a 3 point hitch it would also, be non-live. Also, this tractor only has a single disk clutch. Exploring my options, I may just exchange my back half for one that has a 3 point and live PTO with some individual or a salvage yard. What MF models are common, that the transaxle from the bellhousing rearward can be exchanged. I have a Perkins diesel AD4-203 that needs to be mated to the bellhousing bolt pattern. Also, if you have some pictures of MF 165's, (and perhaps MF 175's or MF ### that have common transaxles) please e-mail them to me so I can study the features. Your help is appreciated. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
