Just wondering if any of you guys are up on what the current prices for cow/calf pairs are in MN? I haven't been to any sales for months. A friend of mine from church approached me about buying two black angus pairs he has. He is going all registered, and these two cows are not papered. One has her 4th calf, 3 weeks old, buy her side and the cow weighs about 12-1300lbs. The other has her 5th calf, 6 weeks old, by her side and weighs 17-1800lbs. He said he'd like $950 a combination. I want to be fair with him. Wasn't really looking for more cows, but he's a pretty good friend and I know he wants them to go to a home that he feels would be good for them. What do you guys think?
