Thats not a very long memory then.Gas was less than 20 cents a gallon in 1973 and had been that low for years.Instead of go up,it went down sometimes when they had gas wars between companies.There were lots more gas stations and they pumped the gas for you,fixed tires,changed oil,lots of stuff.
