I was just wondering if it would be strong enough. I don't know what kind of ratings that big battery has. The way I see it technology has improved ALOT since '65-'67 and it may be that the HD car battery would actually be stronger than that huge thing that came with the tractor. I guess I could stick the battery out of my truck in there and see if it would turn it ok, but it's back in the woods right now and I only want to carry a battery back there one time, if you know what I mean. Some people round here clean em up, change the electrolite, put a new sticker on em and call em rebuilt. They suposedly check to make sure the plates aren't melted etc.
