The 1st shop I ever worked at is like that too. I brought in a bunch of shafts for my uncles gehl 1600 round baler and it came to somewhere around $25-30 per end, but there were a LOT of bearings that went bad on that one. I think atleast 6 rollers needed to be fixed, if not 8.
Place is in NE Wisconsin in Freedom, right on hwy 55. They make sprockets OEM for AGCO as wel as a few other local manufacturers as well and the price is always reasonable. I just had them make me a stub shaft, and replace 2 smaller weld on sprockets on a drive hub for our Gehl 920 wagon and he did it all for $35. Great guys to work with.
