There is more than one bolt pattern on a c6.C6 was used on 390s and 460s.C4 was used on 6 cylinders and 289/302 some 351s.You can find an old Fordomatic or c6 maybe that will bolt up,but it will be way easier to find a c4 or overdrive which is a c4 with overdrive.Look in a junkyard for a pickup that has a 6 cylinder and automatic transmission,preferably a 300 six cylinder,then see whats different.You need the driveshaft and transmission mount,gear off of the speedometer cable,carburetor,shift linkage,steering column,radiator,and probably the rear end too.Might be better off looking for a truck with automatic transmission and blown motor and put your motor in that.
