Couple sherrifs have had some scams directed to their drug buy accounts- they retain forged drafts for couple months and calls get recorded and in a few cases traced, 'Purchaser' advised of address to stop in to pick up change and merchandise. Indiana(?) sherrif and County attorney got a guy from New Jersey area, lots of the rest of scammers are Russian or the classic Nigerians and don't show up. Banks get informed of forged drafts and have stopped a couple attempts when the drafts are presented so has helped a few people keep their money. RN.
