Anyone familiar with 3150's, I've been helping my friend getting the crops planted, we're done now and was trying to figure out a problem with the engage/disengage of the FWA on this 3150. Darned thing won't come out of FWA, annoying when you have to take er on the road, can't be all that good for it etc. 1st the wires came unplugged off the vickers component/part valve on the pan, he says he's got a book for the 3150, but I have not seen it yet, so I have no idea where the ground and or the other wire goes, only 2, but the vickers part has 3 blade terminals.
He calls me yesterday, he went and bought a new vickers part, it looks like some sort of valve with a screen on the end, magnetically operated ? Well the old one came out and the inside came out in pieces, the new one slid right in, we fooled with the wire connections, I could not see the light on the dash light up for either position, driveshaft and u-joints up at the front axle kept spinning and it has that tire rubbing noise in a tight turn, been doing that, so I still think it's engaged, not sure what to make of this, butg would at least like to figure out what blade terminals the wires connect too, and if that 3rd wire is missing or is not used. Any suggestions ?

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
