It started raining just a tad almost as soon as I went out to start on Saturday. I managed to get the headlands done and then the sweet corn, and it just got too wet out. It was just a couple drops here & there, but it was enough to make it stick to the tires and soak me on the open 1600.
Went home and it quit right away. Was dry enough to go back out in about 1 1/2 hours but that was enough to screw it up that I had to finish yesterday. Oats is looking pretty good so far.
Brother got his pumpkins done too. He bought a 1 row Covington planter last year for a good price as well as a 2 bottom potatoe hiller. He makes a pass with the hiller and then plants right on the hill it makes. Pretty slick set up once he got rid of the bone head he had trying to help.
