dealer and availability of parts is most of it in my opinion,but I think price is beginning to show in the fields also,I gave up on jd a long time ago,since the price on fords were less,and the excellent jd dealer here sold out to a bunch of imbeciles .Quite frankly, since the reliable dealer sold out and retired, ive not seen a new large tractor anywhere around here locally thats green .lots of green 30-40 hp still sold though and i think the dealer here is leaning more that way instead of toward large farmers.just my opinion of course.out in western okla theres a excellent JD dealer in elk city ,and they still have a huge market there, most of what you see is green there and has been for years.service and parts are what you need if your farming for a living.
