Why in the world would anyone tolerate any level of gooberment inspecting their private property? They tried that in Kansas years ago but people just wouldn't tolerate it so they gave up pretty darned quickly. They can force me to purchase a tag so that I pay my share of the costs asociated with those things they must enforce, and they can force me to have insurance (which primarily protects me), but I would just beat anyone who thought they had a right to look under my hood or under my car.
