Neighbors had 2m Farmall and then got 24"s .One used an SM and the other had a 450, I started Farming with a farm sale MM 2 row pull with a side elevator, boy was that fun, then I got a new AC33 2 row mtd, then a used Oliver #4 on a 88D.Finally I got a new Ford 2 row mtd for my D17 and that was a fine Corn picker. The first ones could be called ,as one fella noted, "shelly" I called them junk! I used that ford for a lot of years. Rebuilt it twice.Saw no reason to get another one as we started to field shell with a Gleaner combine.
