Yes, bbot gave a couple of good tips, particularly the one with the welding. And sometimes I wonder if penetrating oil has a chance with something that is on that tight and probably corroded. I had a Toyota diesel Landcruiser once whose Oil Pan nut was on unbelieveably tight. Nothing would get it off, pipe wrenches, etc. The hex head (a huge size) was rounded off, obviously someone else had the same problem before I got it. Finally, my neighbour went underneath with his air chisel and hammered away at it for some time (in the loosening direction of course) and eventually cracked it loose. He was just about to give up when the thing gave way. His next step was going to be the welding idea. Bought a new plug and away I went.
