depends on which is his favorite brand of tractor, they all had their good, an their bad points, of course john deere had more good then bad. anyhow as being your first tractor i would recommend a common make an model, so you will not have that much problem with finding parts, such as a farmall H or john deere B. both are smaller rowcrops that you could play with. that way you will have you part sources an a idea where to look for parts. also there are alot of people that have worked on the more common ones that could help you with problems. just my 2 cents worth johndeeregene

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
