ken is right the little N series ford would be great to get him started, there cheap to buy, [ a complete non runner as low as a few hundred] virtually every part is avalible right here on this site including all the manuels , so he wont spend huge amounts of time reashearching and tracking down any hard to find or expensive parts theyre simple tractors to work on, remember these fords when new were intended to be run and repaired by a farmer used to using horses to farm with, and he can either sell it or put it to work when he's done with it

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
