Years ago I had a pair of new rear tires put on an 8N. One had a kind of a "galump" going down the road as if it wasn't quite round.
After a couple years that one went flat. So I called out the tire company that had put them one. The kid (that had mounted them originally) brought out a new tube. When he debeaded and pulled out the old tube, a tire iron came out. A bur on the flat end had cut the tube. With a sheepish look he said, "I wondered what happened to that tire iron. I guess this one is on me." Then he put in the new tube and wrote up no paper work for the job. After that the tire was round and didn't have that "galump" going down the road.
I don't know what he told the boss, but I saw no bill.
