Why I like ebay so well. No haggling, tire kicking is done via email or appointment and we make sure there is another appointment that we need to be at before the people even make the trip to us. Easier to "cancel" the other appointment if they turn out to be decent folks than just run them off (always sharpening my people skills). When we DO end up on the phone, when conversations drag, we ring the doorbell and feel really bad that we have to cut it short. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
