I sang with the same 3 guys in a barbershop quartet for 30 years- had to hang it up a couple years ago, as the oldest among us has Altzheimers, and another moved out of the area. Toward the end, it was a rare song when someone (or two) didn't lean in to the guy next to him and whisper "How does it start?" Gettin' old beats the alternative, I guess, but sometimes not by much. . .
