Last week DOT stopped a friend of mine pulling my trailer, and gave him a ticket for not having the safety chains hooked up. Cost him $65.00. Around here in Mo. they dont generly mess with the smaller guys, but give the big trucks a lot of grief. Several years ago a friend and I were moving a moble home across the hyway with a farm tractor and DOT gave us a ticket for being over width, $75.00. NO justice.
