I still run a 65 Dodge grain truck on my farm along with several others as old as 59.
I question if it is any harder to find medium duty Dodge parts than any other brand. Their are lots of reproduction parts for GM and Ford, but only through one ton. For 1-1/2 ton or larger, your pretty much restricted to salvage yard parts for any brand, with Generic driveline parts from the auto parts store. I am lucky enough to have a local auto parts store that can access several sources of obsolete parts. They got me master, wheel cylinders and all brake hoses for my 59 model IH 1600 last year.
