Nice! I have some similar arrangement with my lovely wife.
I don't own anything but she lets me use most of her stuff as needed.
Most recently she got a nice little .410 for grouse hunting, a pair of deer rifles, a Remington 7mm08 and Winchester .270. She's partial to the 7mm so I usually get the 270 but I'm fine with that:O).
She was looking at a Massey 44 last week but some body made a better offer. She was not happy about it so I expect she'll find another shortly. She also mentioned needing a gently used 3 point field cultivator.
What a woman!
The other helpful thing along those lines is that we agreed years ago that she would make all the 'small' decisions and that I would be left to make all the 'big' ones. It's a great thing. In 13 years there has yet to be a single 'big' decision. She assures me that when one comes along she will accept whatever I decide.
