Leno didn't say things with an angry tone to his voice, so folks knew his jokes were actually jokes. I grew up on Carson, and of all the modern late-night hosts, Leno was probably the closest to Johnny...but he still never filled those shoes completely. At least Jay has a nice car collection.
Conan O'Brien ?? Reminds me of the kid in junior high that tried his best to be the class clown, but failed miserably. Not funny then, not funny now, and has no other entertainment skills.
