I want to thank all that responded, for their information and concern for my safety, but let me better describe what I am dealing with. The area I am attempting to bush hog was part of a dairy farm. It is my understanding that when used as a dairy farm it was mowed and baled for hay. It is also my understanding that the previous owner mowed it with a bush hog. The slope doesn't seem to be that great when mowing up and down the slope. The problem with the part I haven't mowed is turning at the bottom of the slope. A small stream flows at the bottom at the very point where things start to level out. I was hoping I could mow down the slope and then back the tractor back up to where things level out at the top of the hill and then mow back down and keep doing that until I completed what I can safely bush hog. I would forget it until spring if the city folks that purchased the adjoining property would stop complaining about the high grass. I plan to put some beef cattle on it in the spring once I have it fenced, but that doesn't solve my immediate problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don
