Well I have had more head bumps than I could count. None too recently though.
I do remember that in 4th grade I took one hard in phys ed to the head playing dodgeball. Thought nothing of it but then got nekkid in the showers and promptly took a nap on the floor with the water running. Next thing I knew my (female) schoolteacher was in the boys' room holding my head and asking me to follow her fingers with my eyes. I don't know how I got underwear back on because the only other boy in the class had a nervous stomach and puked anytime he saw someone else nekkid.
Dad tells me an electric fencer across the forehead will drop you quite nicely.
Last real stunner I remember happened in 03 when I was tearing a wall out of the barn. I moved it with my loader (dump bucket) and was standing in the bucket physically standing the section of wall up someplace when the loader bucket tripped and dropped me. I don't remember the wall coming back at me but I got dizzy.
No wait, one other one. I was sitting in the house at the kitchen table. I tend to tip chairs back... These were roller chairs, it went out from under me and I landed hard on my tailbone. I stood up, straightened the chair up, sat down, started to talk, and passed out mid-sentence. Never imagined a tailbone hit could give ya a concussion.
Haven't had any real bumps in a while. God's got angels taking care of me now!

Minus two kids, we traveled light with only the youngest in tow. As long as a pool was at the end of our destination she was easy to please unlike the other two who have a multitude of requirements to travel with mom and dad. Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
