Well I finally managed to get my Grandaddy's A model Farmall and get her home. It didn't happen the way I wanted it to. My Grandaddy, Joseph Calvin Drake ( J.C. ), passed away on Oct 7, 2000. He was 88 years young and spent over half his life working the family farm and later gardens with this 194? tractor. (I'm still not sure of the year yet, more research ahead) I grew up on his farm and spent many a day on the old Farmall myself. I had been attempting to buy the tractor through my uncle (the executor of his affairs for the past 5 years) to no avail. But when the estate was settled and divided the children all agreed that I should have tractor and all the implements. I plan a complete restoration of the old girl so she will still be around for my grandkids. Just thought I'd let you all know as I have posted questions and comments before and gotten encouraging responses from some of you. I'll try to keep up to date as the restoration progresses.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
