I want to thank all that responded with alot of great help. I certainly learned a great deal about my 8n as far as its front mounted distributor, can do it blindfolded now. The thing I learned is to make sure you have really good light when setting the points so that you can see that they are not closing all the way. That fixed the problem I just finished mowing and she ran better than she ever has. Adios all!
