A few little things. I have been out of a job since April. Doing lots of jobs I put off because I didn't have time to do them. Yesterday I made one good sprayer pump out of 3 bad ones, had to run to Hills, Ia for bearings and seals. Got it back together last night, will put it on this morning and see if it's dry enough to spray corn. Got tired of switching pumps from good sprayer to the old one with drops on it. I cleaned up and painted the Case 446 and took to a show in Geneseo, Ill last Saturday. Got my old 3 bottom JD plow painted, I hope to take it to Atkinson, Ill. show in Sept and use it behind my JD 70. I spent 6 Saturday's (and more to come) working at our club's new showgrounds in Joslin, Ill. Then I have to squeeze 2 job searchs a week into my busy schedule. This is probably as close to retirement as I will ever get, when I get another job, I'll have to work till I die. Chris

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
