A mother was sad that her young son was not getting the life experiences that she had growing up on the family farm. She decided to ask her brother tjdub if her son Billy could live on the farm for a few days and help him out. It was agreed and she drove him down from the city. She returned a few of days later to pick him up. On the drive home she asked Billy all about his week on the farm and he told her all about it.
"We had all kinds of fun Mom. The first day we woke up early. We went out to the back pasture to round up all the &*$!@ers. We chased them back home and put them in front pasture."
"The next day all the &*$!@ers broke out of the barnyard and ran up into the alfalfa. We had quite a time chasing all the &*$!@ers back home again."
"Later that day the &*$!@ers broke out again and got into the corn field. This time we put the &*$!@ers in the barnyard."
"Billy!" said the mother, "You have to realize that Uncle tjdub says a lot of words that you are not supposed to repeat. These are called swear words. You have to forgive your Uncle for using these words around children, he has a hard time controlling his temper." Billy thought a moment and said "Yes mom, I know all about THAT. On the third day Uncle tjdub got SO ANGRY at those &*$!@ers he called one of the little &*$!@ers a HEIFER!"

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
