Well, your starting off right!!!!!!! I'm kinda partial to the Olivers. Back in 1980 I bought a 1949 Oliver Row Crop 66 from my dad. I was 13, and in the 8th grade. I paid him with part of my allowance, $10.00 a month, until it was PAID FOR. He said "I'm gonna do you like the bank does me, if you miss any payments, I'll take the tractor back and keep the money." It prepared me for what was to come in life. That was 29 years ago, and I STILL have that tractor. I just used her the other day to pull a disk. Congratulations, and enjoy your new tractor. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
