Thats cool ! Don't know much about the Olivers, but isn't that one supposed to have a great reputation ?
I guess I've been around tractors a good part of my life, think it started when I was a real young one, like before school age, climbed up onto the JD 2010 with a loader and moved the console shift lever, got my first solo ride, a short one as it stopped against the edge of the raised lawn by the driveway no harm done, tribal elders did take notice though. We had a Ford Tractor dealership and various models over the years, another JD, an IH, then Fords.
It gets in your blood, many years later I really needed to own one, and got an old ford 850, worn out, and kept er going 7 years now, technically my first one, and it's been fun, some repairs, and breakdowns, overall it's a challenge to keep a worn one going, still enjoy seat time, especially mowing, been a good experience and it owes me nothing, the thing was ready for dismantling just about too. Good luck with that Oliver, be safe and learn what you can from the older and or experienced hands.
