Had Another Saturday workday at the new showgrounds for the Antique Engine and Tractor Association today. I got there a little late, and they were already oiling the last load of beams that came in, so I went out and helped on the foundation for the new restroom-shower building. We had to take out about 2" of sand and then dig down and put foam around the outside of the footings for the heat in the floor. Got that done just before Noon, and after dinner we helped get the big beams sprayed and put inside the shed. They were too long to snake thru the door, so we took a hayrack off of the running gear and loaded them on it. I backed it into the griveway and then Russ unloaded them with the skidsteer and stacked them. Tight for room, I backed in and he picked up 1 stack and then I pulled ahead so he could stack them and then I would back in and he would repeat the process until we got them all inside. Chuck and Ed went back out and put in rewire, plastic and ran the lines for the floor heat. Ready for cement there. At least if wasn't so hot today and a nice breeze. Chris
