Hello all, I bought a 75' Farmall 1566 awhile back and it had some interesting aftermarket fuel tanks on it. They are side mounted under the front of the cab, and actually the cab bolts to them. Don't have the original cab mounts or battery boxes. The tanks are steps to get in the cab as well. And I want to say the tanks could hold 50-70 gals a piece. It uses a 1 to 1-1/2" hose to connect them. Was wondering if someone would happen to know maybe what brand they are.
But also heard of alot of different types of auxilary tanks for these old tractors. One heard of was a belly mount under the cab. And also the main one I'm interested in is the front mounted tank. Would it be a good thing to have that tank almost blocking the radiator? What kind of capacity does that front mount have? Brand?
I want to do away with the saddle tanks I have and run the front mount tank. Any info would be helpfull. Thanks!
