Thanks for the responses on an earlier post on a stuck clutch. I picked up the 4010 tonite that I bought a few days ago with a stuck clutch after having sat for 10 years. Well, it may be unorthodox but we pushed it onto the trailer and I double chained it down leaving the chains loose enough that it could rock 4-6 inches. I put it into 8th gear and headed home on the backroads with the clutch blocked down. Only had about 6 miles to go at 30 mph. I just pumped the accelerator up and down to rock the tractor. To my delight the tractor fired up like a new one and on the down the ramps popped it into gear and hit the clutch and brakes simultaneously, Yippee she stopped. Wife thinks I'm nuts for being so happy. I don't remember a first date ever being this great. But then I am getting old.
