Sounds like you're looking for trained farm hands who don't need to be supervised, yet you're wanting to hire kids. I believe you're pretty much going to have to pick one or the other, because these days it's doubtful you'll find both.
Kids who grow up in town aren't usually exposed to farm duties. And a lot of kids who grow up on the farm hear Dad b1tch and complain so much about the lifestyle that the kids don't want to learn how to do something that obviously must be such a pain in the azz, the way Dad rants and raves about it...the long hours, no money in it, stuff always breaking down, high costs and low crop/livestock prices...it's a wonder anyone farms anymore, but I'm darn glad they do!
