Stan, Happy Birthday and Happy Independence Day to you.
Spent all day taking down more trees for my brother. Not so much trouble as it is work. The biggest 26" at the bottom cut, the others not much smaller. That's just work. It's easier in the winter or after the snow's just melted and the ground hasn't thawed when its cooler and there aren't leaves and a blowing wind to deal with. Only one of them fell where I planned, two were kind of close, and the last blew over me and back into the woods. When the wind picks up after you're almost through the cut, wedges don't guide squat. Being Independence Day, I'm done smoking today, that's for sure because I still have to load and deliver it today, and nearly died yesterday. Well, its still kind of cool out, best to get going soon cause it aint going to be fun under any conditions, has to get done, and may as well get done while its cooler. Son of a gun, thats work.
