Check us out at www.brownfarmiowa.com. On July 18th we have a 49 mile tractor ride with all the stops and conveniences expected of a good tractor ride. We currently have 51 tractors signed up. More tractors are always welcome. We also have the threshing, corn shelling, Squaredancing lawnmowers, plowing with horses and tractors. People movers are on the grounds and will be in continuous operation. We will have our museums on the grounds open. The ride is the 18th and show date is the 19th. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
