I remember as a kid being in a Chevy showroom one day when my Dad was buying a new truck. There was a vette in there and me and him looked at it and he said that thing cost 11 thousand dollars!!! and of course we loved the car but could never hope to have one. What do they cost now??
My folks had just built the nice big home they still live in for 13 thou, he already owned the land.
I think the truck he bought was 3.5 thousand...in that range. I remember him saying he would never get it paid off.
To this day the only vette I could drive would have to be a Chevette.
