I'll take a shot at this... It is usually the rings to the cylinder walls. However, it is possible that other points can be stuck, (such as the crank to the bearings or valve stems to the guides). If the WD-40 does not free up the rings, try 2 days with PB Blaster and try the hand crank again. Make sure that when you are trying to crank by hand that you have the plugs out so you are not working against the engine compression! If that doesn't do it, pour about 2 tablespoons of Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder and let it sit for a week and then try the crank. If you can get a straight shot at the valves with the 'straw' for the WD-40, hit them good too. If all else fails, you can of course try and pull her in gear. Do not push in on the clutch and then pop it once you are going, but just try and pull it with it in gear and the clutch engaged. Do not try and start it at first, you just want to free it up. If you are just dragging her, then I would say it is time to pull the head at least. I also have had success by putting it in the highest gear and rocking front to back. Get four strong boys, 2 on each rear tire, and rock that bugger front to back. This will also work to free a clutch that is stuck to the plate if you block down the pedal, but that is a different problem :-) I also recommend changing the crankcase oil as soon as you get it warmed up after starting her and then again after 10 hours of running. You want to get all the gunk out and the rust particles too.
