Here's one more opinion. Pistons probably stuck to cylinder walls. Pour diesel fuel or brake fluid in spark plug holes. Brake fluid is heavier and won't seep through as fast. Then forget about it for a week or two and see if that works. You may repeat this a few times. Be patient. You can also try the pulling around. If these don't work you probably need to begin dismantling the engine. If it has been dry and no water got in it probably isn't too serious.
