i replaced the power steering gear box on my "94 2wd dodge 2500 with the 5.9 cummins this weekend due to the old box being worn out, after wwlll with the pitman arm, all was well,or so i thought, now the pump moos, and the power assist at idle is virtually non exitant, i did crack the lines in a attempt to bleed the system with no results,the haynes manuel i have for the truck doesnt even acnowledge the steering box is there, anybody got a cure, i dont want to drive it and burn up the high dollar gear driven pump,my chevy has a flat the kw is at the pitand the jd is hooked to the disc,so this morning im actually driving my ford jubilee to work, its the only thing that runs today, and the sun is just now up,i cant wait to see how the rest of the day goes,
