Incredible is a fine choice.......but I prefer Honey Select, have raised it the last 2-3 seasons. I"ve raised Bodacious in the past.....it"s good too.
Never had any problem with any corn variety standing up. If you"ll put the fertilize to it and not be cheap with it......you"ll get your money back in a healthy crop. I use 19-19-19 and at lay by, I pour the ammonia to it. Corn is a heavy feeder and that last dose of N really pushes it to the finish.
Iowa Chief...good lord.........we raised an ate that stuff when I was a kid in the early-mid 60"s. My dad still manages to find some seed every spring.....that stuff is like eating field corn compared to the modern varieties. Prior to that, it was Golden Bantam.......that is one of the very first varieties ever developed. Today"s offerings are tons better.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
