there is a bunch more to your valve job than what you can do yourself before you take it to your machine shop---if you owned a seat grinder,reamers, mag-flux,etc-& etc--& knew how to make your new valve & new guide all hit on the seat in your old head in center, with proper contact point on seat--you could do it all yourself--sorry, but there is more to it/parts in kit] The machine shop i use would run me off if they thought i would "check up on them" & i don't have the equipment to do so anyhow---

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
