Actually there is also a #4 quick hitch, and there are 2 versions of the #3, one has the shaft size of a #3, but the dimentions of a #2. As people say, they work great if you have matching equipment & switch between 2-3 pieces a lot. But there are pto problems, different dimentions, it adds a couple inches to the hookup linkage, and so on to watch out for. Also, some equipment says don't use with a quick hitch - people do anyhow, but... --->Paul
