Will significantly improve fuel consumption. Pretty much allows you to meet Tier IV with Tier II equipment plus the additional particulate trap by using urea. Takes care of the NOx element. Downside is you need to buy a urea based solution. Since it will freeze you need to somehow heat the tank when the temperature gets low. The alternative is to pump in more cooled EGR which is volumetrically inefficient and makes "good" combustion diffficult. Might be easier to make computer changes which will inactivate the crap, without screwing up the whole combustion system but I'm sure it will hard to fool the computer so it doesn't show at the dealer.
